Part 2: EIGHT MOST POWERFUL (CURRENT) PRODUCTION MOTORCYCLES

And, let us continue....

5. Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R

200 hp (147.1 kW) with ram air, 113.6 ft. lb. (154 Nm), 584.3 lbs. (wet)

You want fast? Okay, well give you fast. The ZX-14R is Kawasaki’s weapon to assault the fastest bike title. Since its introduction, it has destroyed acceleration figures until the debut of the H2R/H2. The best quarter mile recorded on a stock ZX-14R was 9.47 seconds at 149.83, on a stock bike. Proof that you don’t have to spend $ 300,000 to achieve that kind of thrill.

4. Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX

206.5 hp (153.9 kW) with ram air, 101.3 ft. lb. (137.3 Nm), 564 lbs. (wet)

200 horsepower not fast enough? Shall we up the madness quotient? On a sport-tourer, no less. The Ninja H2 SX is the sport-touring version of the Ninja H2 and has surprisingly more power, although the engine is “tuned for low and midrange” torque. Time to date that speed-freak.

3. Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R

207 hp (154.5 kW) with ram air, 83.7 ft. lb. (113.5 Nm), 454.2 lbs. (wet)

Kawasaki has been on the roll for the last five years in WSBK racing, especially after Johnathan Rea won four tiles on a trot. The Ninja ZX-10R is maddeningly fast to ride by any account. But it is still not the most powerful.

2. Ducati 1299 Panigale R Final Edition

209 hp (155.9 kW), 77.2 ft. lb. (107 Nm), 418.8 lbs. (wet)

V-Twin Panigale has been outgunned in the WSBK for many years, as the engine has reached its power limit. Ducati decided to move to the V-4 format, following their exploits in MotoGP. The Panigale R Final Edition will be the last Ducati sportbike to utilize the traditional V-Twin arrangement.

1. Ducati Panigale V-4

214 hp (157.5 kW), 91.5 ft. lb. (124 Nm), 386 lb. (dry)

The Panigale V-4 is Ducati’s hope in recapturing the WSBK title they once dominated. The bike consists of many groundbreaking and novel features besides the V-4 monster of an engine. There are three variants: V-4, V-4S and the V-4S Speciale. The Speciale produces 226 hp with the race kit installed.
