The World's Fastest Indian and three other motorcycle movies you need to watch

Just like with everything else, motorcycling has long found its place on the big screen with classics like On Any Sunday, Easy Rider and The Wild One from as far back as the late 60s.

Since then, feature films with story lines centered on motorcycle racing and biker duels may have hit a speed bump, making way for biker TV shows. But that's not to say there aren't anymore movies that make you want to ride -- and are worth the average hour and ninty minutes of your time.

The World's Fastest Indian
It’s got Sir Anthony Hopkins in it. It’s on every biker’s must watch list and it’s based on a true story. We could blurb the plot but we wouldn’t be doing the film any justice. Enjoy the trailer here instead.

Dream Racer
One rider, a motorbike, a film maker and the world’s most deadly race. The makings of a great motorcycling movie but if you follow the film from start to end, you’ll realise the guys behind it had deeper intentions than just making a watchable and enjoyable film.

Dust to glory
Touted to be one of the greatest racing films of all time, the slam-bang racing documentary tells the tale of the world’s longest non-stop point-to-point race: The Baja 1000. And if the film is a testament to anything, its that its definitely not for the weak.

Why we ride
It’s honest. It’s captivating. It’s love of riding that runs deep for people from everywhere, living all kinds of lives. It’s beautifully captured truths about why they ride.
